Goldkimono
Goldkimono is niet je alledaagse singer-songwriter. Goldkimono – echte naam Tienus Konijnenburg – komt uit Utrecht, maar is ontstaan in Californië. En dat hoor je. De veelzijdige artiest maakt vrolijke meezingers die zijn geïnspireerd door 90's hiphop en pop, maar ook het zomerse skate- of surfgevoel hoor je terug. Naast eigen muziek, werkte Tienus ook als producer met acts als Kygo en Tai Verdes. Zijn debuutalbum 'The Legend Of The Goldkimono' (2022) werd met lovende kritieken ontvangen en in september 2023 verscheen de opvolger 'Something Out Of Nothing' met hits als 'Hello', 'Tears Of The Sun' en 'Lost Inside My Head'.
“I made an album called ‘Something Out Of Nothing’. It’s about creation. About making something out of it. Out of what? Well, life, your situation, relationships, your environment, just ‘it’ in general. Whatever it means to you. For me it was putting the pen down on paper. Writing down the thoughts, freeing the feelings, singing the shadows of the walls. Making space to embrace life, personal growth, and finding beauty in simplicity. ”
