Roy Ayers

'Everybody loves The Sunshine' from 1976 is probably the most famous single by American funk, soul and jazz vibraphonist Roy Ayers. Sampled numerous times by various hip-hop artists who see him as a major source of inspiration. Ayers has been releasing album after album since the early 1960s, collaborating with Fela Kuti, Herbie Mann and British house pioneers.

Ayers starts playing the vibraphone at the age of five. He is seen as one of the driving forces behind the Acid Jazz genre.
