Teenage Fanclub

Note: Teenage Fanclub was supposed to come to Eindhoven for a show at Come As You Are 2020, but unfortunately a virus threw a spanner in the works. The show in May 2021 also had to be moved to Sunday, May 8, 2022 for the same reason. Tickets for the original date remain valid, you do not have to do anything for this. Ticket buyers have been personally informed by Ticketmaster about the three other ticket options (voucher, donation, refund).

The band itself says the following about the move: “This is probably the least unexpected news we could be delivering right now, but unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic we have reluctantly been forced to again reschedule our UK and European tour dates. Due to venue availability we’ve had to move most of these dates back to April and May 2022. Also, due to production delays with the vinyl manufacturing process we are having to put back the release date for our new album Endless Arcade by a few weeks. The new release date will be Apr 30th 2021. However, we have some new music from the album to share now. You can listen to the song I’m More Inclined via your preferred streaming service today."

The Scottish Teenage Fanclub started out as a shoegaze/noiserock band, until they suddenly found out they'd better write glowing guitar rockers along the lines of Big Star, The Byrds and the entire Paisley Underground. But still with just enough distortion. They scored hits with 'The Concept', 'What You Do To Me', 'Star Sign' and 'Hang On'.
