Jungle By Night
The mega swinging live band Jungle By Night will be playing on Friday, April 28th, during Party In Nomansland. Since its foundation in 2009, the seven-piece outfit from Amsterdam has been bringing its dynamic shows to various stages and festivals worldwide. On the latest album 'Algorhythm' they bring an analog homage to all electronic sounds. Expect a danceable mix of synthesizers, drums, bass, guitar, and percussion supplemented with trumpet, saxophone, and trombone. Over the years their sound evolved into a mixture of analog dance music, (70's) funk, krautrock, and 80's electro. The result? Jungle By Night is nowadays known as a must-see festival act.
This Is LOVSKI
This is LOVSKI combines elements of his Bosnian roots with indie/new wave, African and Tropical sound. All of this is blended with highly danceable beats and catchy songs. The end result? Bosnian Tropical Electro. With his exotic surf sound and endless energy, This is LOVSKI takes you on a trip where borders no longer exist. A world with golden sunsets and endless parties in undiscovered cities. He brings people together and lets the world dance like there's no tomorrow.
Discos Horizontes
Hermanos Kaliman and Agua Rosa together are Discos Horizontes; two dedicated collectors of cracking vintage recordings from distant, often tropical places. From Colombia to Thailand, from Turkey to Nigeria, from Jamaica to Ethiopia, and everything in between. Raw, psychedelic, deep, and danceable are the keywords. You may know them as residents at Down The Rabbit Hole and Lowlands, but this evening they bring their vortex of energizing percussion, dirty bass lines and mesmerizing synths to Effenaar.
Versano
Behind the decks, Brian Kwizera – also known as Versano – is a true DJ. With hundreds of bookings in recent years, Versano is certainly no stranger; he played at parties like Vunzige Deuntjes, Dopenez and Mama Africa. His spinning styles vary from house (Latin) to moombahton, from kuduro to EDM, and much more. And Versano's own productions are changed by greats like Hardwell, Chuckie, and Diplo!
Djette Nanixa
Djette Nanixa is an Amsterdam-based DJ/producer who creates a unique sound that blends the old with the new. She loves to make people move and groove, providing high-energy bangers as well as smooth downtempo grooves. Djette Nanixa has been highly influenced by the global underground mix events and Festivals. She was considered a tribal, techno, afro house, and progressive house, later she also spent some years playing deep house, and Arabo (turkish house mixtapes).
MC Yetty
Yetunde Olusanya (Yetty) is a British African living and working in Eindhoven. Yetunde is known for her brand of bold; high energy, cultural and infectious personality. You may know Yetunde from 'Yetty's Place Hotel and Café' or her own vintage clothing store YATVA – where everyone can 100% be themselves. In addition, Yetunde is also making steps in entertainment, including radio hostings and voice-overs. On April 28th, she will be hosting Party In Nomansland under her alias MC Yetty.
