If you’ve ever been lost in a swirl of colour and light at a gig, it was probably their doing.

Friday was the warm-up, Saturday’s turning the heat all the way up. Can’t wait? Here are 5 Saturday highlights you won’t want to miss.

MIEN | 17:45 - 18:15

In a world where “psych” often feels formulaic, MIEN breaks the mold. Their long-awaited second album, MIEN II, just dropped on Fuzz Club, marking a bold leap forward. Richly layered and fearlessly experimental, the record bridges the golden age of ’60s psychedelia with cutting-edge modern sounds.

It all began in 2004, when Rishi Dhir (Elephant Stone) met Alex Maas (The Black Angels) at SXSW, eventually teaming up with John Mark Lapham (The Earlies) and Robb Kidd (Golden Dawn Arkestra). Definitely a must-see for anyone drawn to the raw chemistry of a supergroup pushing psychedelia into new dimensions.

Rose City Band | 19:30 - 20:00

Rose City Band crafts a radiant blend of sun-drenched country rock, driven by effortless grooves and a bittersweet sense of joy. Led by Ripley Johnson (Wooden Shjips, Moon Duo), the band channels the spirit of '70s private-press records, merging vintage warmth with a modern feel. Their latest album, Sol Y Sombra, digs its heels in into insatiable grooves with catchy songs that feel like a drive through an open desert. It’s a joyful experience, finding solace in both sun and shade, which comes through in their captivating live shows.

Goat | 21:15 - 22:15

Long in Fuzz Club’s dream line-up crosshairs, Swedish psychedelic outfit GOAT will finally be performing at the festival in 2025—making a headline appearance off the back of 2024’s incredible self-titled Goat LP. Following the uncharted territory of the soul-searching, folk-tinged Medicine, and the dark, atmospheric soundtrack to Shane Meadows’ The Gallows Pole, Goat sees this ever-unpredictable outfit summoning rhythmically driven rituals in an unmistakable, uplifting, and scintillating style—equally adept at igniting dance floors and expanding minds.

Though the identities behind the band’s three albums remain cloaked in mystery, their sound is unmistakable: a swirling fusion of psychedelic energy, acidic grooves, hypnotic chants, and serpentine guitar lines that continue to chart new and thrilling musical terrain.

The KVB | 23:30 - 00:00

The KVB

Cold wave duo The KVB dropped their seventh album, Tremors, marking a return to the darker, brooding sound that defined their earliest work, while still holding onto the infectious pop hooks of their previous release, Unity. Dubbed "dystopian pop," Tremors pulses with energy, dynamic shifts, and relentless hooks, all crafted with their live shows in mind.

Prepare for a career-spanning set at Fuzz Club Festival, where their mastery of atmosphere will leave you breathless—blending brittle beats and sonic blasts that evoke the spirit of Cabaret Voltaire and The Jesus and Mary Chain, yet has become more streamlined and sharp-edged over time.

MAQUINA. | 01:00 - 01:30

The dynamic Lisbon-based trio MAQUINA. draws from a rich tapestry of minimalist and repetitive music styles, including Krautrock and industrial techno, but pushes these genres to bold new frontiers by blending noise and electronic elements. With over 140 concerts across the European underground music scene and two albums under their belt, they've proven they never sit still.

Their latest release, Prata, dropped earlier this year via Fuzz Club Records. What truly sets MAQUINA. apart is their unwavering commitment to authenticity and musicality in their live performances. This trio doesn't rely on machinery; instead, they harness the raw energy of live instruments, delivering a groove-heavy, electrifying experience that connects deeply with their audience.
