YĪN YĪN from Maastricht brings their Thaichedelics back to Effenaar! In addition to performances at festivals such as Into The Great Wide Open and Best Kept Secret, YĪN YĪN - with their psychedelic mix of Thai funk, disco, and electronics - was one of the highlights of Hit The City 2022. On Saturday 9 September, they will be back with their latest album ' The Age Of Aquarius' to do it all over again, but then in the Grote Zaal!
Kumbia Boruka
Lyon-based live band Kumbia Boruka has its roots in the Mexican cumbia capital Monterrey; the city where bandleader Hernan Cortés learned the tricks of the trade from cumbia legend Celso Piña. And besides the classic cumbia grooves, Kumbia Boruka also masters 'nueva cumbia' with influences from reggae, dub, African music, rock, and more. With two albums and more than 250 live shows of experience, the party is guaranteed.
