Youngblood has turned countless tours in the United States and abroad upside down, sales dates in more than 20 countries. Their festival CV reads like a list of the toughest music events in the world: Roskilde, Glastonbury, Lowlands, Pukkelpop, SXSW, CMJ and North Sea Jazz to name but a few. The banging live shows gave the band the status of an incredible group to attend, whether in an intimate club setting or for thousands on a festival stage.
The Youngblood Brass Band's roots lie in traditional New Orleans brass music, but the band puts an extra layer of grooves on top of that, creating a mix of hip-hop, drum&b(r)ass and Latin. Sometimes they even take a trip to punk, but always stay true to funk. Questlove of The Roots is a fan of the first hour, just like Talib Kweli, with whom the Youngblood Brass Band even worked together.
