The Mystery Lights

We introduced the pleasant swinging men of The Mystery Lights to the city of lights during Eindhoven Psych Lab last summer and they were welcomed with open arms. Their album was fully recorded in a 60s way; including 8 track tape machines in the New York Daptone studio: you know, the base of every soul hero at the moment (think Charles Bradley and Sharon Jones). Next to the delightful soul, Daptone has also proven they can record some rocking garage. The Mystery Lights are danceable, threatening, loud, mysterious, fully surrendered and extra up tempo deluxe.

Odd Couple

Two fellows from Berlin, drums, guitars and two pairs of hands; that’s what makes Odd Couple. It doesn’t really matter who is playing which instrument. It’s all about the moment they create clammy rock’n’roll with the limited resources they have.
