Album release Radar Men From The Moon kicks off Eindhoven Psych Lab.
Tonight, psychedelia will flood the Effenaar in many forms. We will celebrate the new album by Radar Men From The Moon together with the almighty The Oscillation and Those Foreign Kids. A special delegation of Liverpool Psych Fest will submerge the room in psych sounds and visuals during the whole evening. So rest assured, this will be a trip to remember. But it will also be the kick off for our new two day festival on the 6th and 7th of June: Eindhoven Psych Lab, presented by Effenaar and Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. A limited amount of early bird tickets will be sold for € 45,00 tonight and tonight only. And last but not least: Eindhoven Psych Lab will also reveal most of the bands playing in Eindhoven during the festival in June.
Radar Men From The Moon (RMFTM)
After the release of their debut album ´Echo Forever´ and a crazy year of touring Europe, these Dutch meisters of instrumental shoegaze and neo-psych are back with a freshly recorded set of songs. Tonight we celebrate the release of ‘Strange Wave Galore’ through Fuzz Club Records. And we celebrate in style. RMFTM recently grew form a three piece to a four headed psych monster with Niek Manders joining in on synths, exploring galaxies even further away.
Krautrock, psychedelia and that typical British punk edge. The Oscillation is everything that makes psych music worth tripping to. Famed for their exploding live visuals, diverse sonic explorations during concerts and a groove that holds you firmly in a meditative state of slow dancing, this three piece will be remembered in the city of light. Promised! Check out their latest and super fine record ´From Tomorrow´.
Those Foreign Kids
´From Haarlem with Noise´. This could have been the title for their incredibly cool debut album. But it isn´t. Those Foreign Kids decided to call their collection of sonic assaults ´Zero Gravity Somersaulting Craze´. These two guys will shake you awake and then blow you away. If you haven´t seen them live, you´re in for a treat.
