Bucks-based Home Counties are on the rise. Since the foundation and release of their debut EP 'Redevelopment' in 2020, the five-piece band has effortlessly captured the attention of the underground. For example, Home Counties already received the necessary radio support (BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, and Beats 1) and they are supported by a whole laundry list of outlets (including DIY Magazine, Loud & Quiet, NME, Dork Magazine, Clash Magazine).
In the run-up to their EP 'In A Middle English Town' (2022), the garage punk band took a sharp left turn towards art-pop/rock and post-punk. On the single 'White Shirt / Clean Shirt' the band works together even more closely than on the predecessor 'Modern Yuppies' and shows that they are not afraid to color outside the lines, which manifests itself in an experimental mix of guitars, synthesizers and drum machines.
For fans of bands like Squid, Shame, Dry Cleaning, Do Nothing, and The Murder Capital.
