Minami Deutsch

Minami Deutsch

Minami Deutsch makes music along the lines of motorik-legends such as Can, Neu! and Kraftwerk accessible to today’s generation. The Japanese band combines krautrock and psychedelica steeped in 70’s influences with a hint of electronics. Their sound includes repetitive and hypnotic rhytms that unexpectedly evolve into blistering fuzz-rock. The trio emerged in 2014 on the bustling streets of Tokyo and were quickly picked up by Tokyo Psych Fest. They now collaborate with the record label of Kikagaku Moyo, which allows them to generate international interest. You’ve seen them at Roadburn, Le Guess Who and Eindhoven Psych Lab – and this summer they are back in Eindhoven.

For fans of: Kikagaku Moyo, Acid Mothers Temple, Follakzoid and Moon Duo.
