Energetic garage rock with a magnetic pull
Magnetic Spacemen bring their energetic mix of gritty garage rock, surfy post-punk and 60's beat to the Stroomhuis for a dynamic show. Expect the unexpected, because this thumping live act is just as unpredictable as the pounding mosh pits the men trigger. The band previously supported FIDLAR and VANT and armed with their new record 'Papoya Poya', Magnetic Spacemen are unstoppable. Inspirations are garage greats such as Thee Oh Sees, Pixies and Together PANGEA.
Support from the Utrecht-born Bongloard, then you already know what time it is. With a good dose of hard garage rock, Jannes van Kaam (FFOOS), Ties Bogers (Ex-Palmsy) and Jan van Asch (Speak Easy) come to shake things up and turn the tent upside down. Expect fuzz guitars, fierce bass riffs and intense drums.
Under the direction of Michiel Geelen (The Galactic Lo-fi Orchestra / My Sister Susan), Death Star Discotheque has everything it takes to bring the deadest dance floor back to life: a vital show in which post-punk, shoegaze and dark indie come together.
