Album Release - Family Names
Afterpartees are a band from Horst, the Netherlands. Five brothers enthusiastically making guitar pop in the grand tradition of acts like Iggy Pop, The Strokes, Jonathan Richman and Blondie.
One of the best live bands from the lowlands, according to the singer at least, a show from Afterpartees is guaranteed to never be boring. They played big stages on Pinkpop, Best Kept Secret, Lowlands and Into The Great Wide Open.
Their third album ‘Family Names’ - out early 2022 on AT EASE records - is an ode to togetherness, friends and deviled eggs. Recorded in a mysterious horse stable in the dark woods of Horst, is an 80's power pop inspired romp of a record filled with catchy riffs, suffused with the Limburgian sand soil on which it was produced.
Andy & the Antichrist
Another band from Limburg as the support act! The band Andy & the Antichrist, founded in 2016, makes music that is described by the local sewing club in Horst as noisy, and by themselves as a mix between garage rock and punk rock.
Ticket sales for Afterpartees with Andy & The Antichrist in the support act will start on Friday 10 December at 10.00.
