Effenaar and ’t Wasven traditionally join forces this summer, and just like last year, we will do this on the cozy terrace of Groendomein ’t Wasven. You can come and have a drink on five Thursdays in July, August and September. Effenaar provides the musical accompaniment and ’t Wasven provides a nice snack board and fresh drinks. And all of this framed by the unique Effenaar 't Wasven summer feeling.
July 15: Poor Man Richie
July 29: Abee
August 12: Bai Kamara Jr.
August 26: Kymara
September 9: Mercy John
Would you like to visit the summer terrace of Effenaar 't Wasven? Reserve a table for € 15.50 per person. A minimum of two and a maximum of four people can sit at a table, so we keep a sufficient overview and distance. Depending on the number of people, each table is provided with a delicious borrelpank (vegetarian or dietary requirements please indicate in comments) and of course a beautiful concert by an artist or small band.
About Mercy John
For many musicians, their roots are very important. For Mercy John, those roots are almost everything, and are unmistakably present in his songs. According to him, the Brabant clay is the perfect breeding ground for Dutch Americana. Artists such as Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams can be heard in the music, but Mercy John gives it all its own jacket; its own story.
His critically acclaimed debut album 'This Ain't New York' opened the door to the Naked Song Festival and tours with JW Roy and Danny Vera. His new record 'Let It Go Easy' once again received only good reviews. 't Wasven is the perfect setting for his performance on 9 September. Come and see!
